Our goal is to make drug development more efficient while contributing to better treatment and health for the population. We are now expanding our team and are looking for an RWE Project Leader based in Denmark.

Who are you?

You have a solid background in epidemiology, statistics, or data science, and a genuine interest in real-world evidence. You are curious, analytical, and enjoy working across methods and data sources to answer complex questions. You are comfortable taking ownership of projects — coordinating timelines, deliverables, and stakeholders — while also contributing hands-on to the analytical work. You thrive in a collaborative environment and are comfortable working both independently and as part of a team.

What are we looking for?

• A degree in epidemiology, statistics, data science, or a related field (MSc or PhD preferred)

• Experience working with real-world data — including Danish registries, claims data, or electronic health records

• Familiarity with the Danish health data landscape and experience navigating the approval process for accessing Danish health data (e.g. Statistics Denmark, Sundhedsdatastyrelsen)

• Experience with study design, protocol development, and statistical analysis plans

• Proficiency in analytical tools such as R, Python, or similar

• Strong communication skills in English; Danish or another Scandinavian language  

What will you do?

• Design and conduct RWE studies using Danish and Nordic health data

• Develop protocols, analysis plans, and carry out statistical analyses

• Contribute to reports, publications, and regulatory submissions

• Collaborate with internal teams and external partners, including pharma clients

• Lead project management and quality assurance of study deliverables

Director RWE Denmark | Real-World Evidence & Health Data

Do you want to lead NordicRWE's expansion in Denmark?  NordicRWE is a research and technology company that leverages unique Nordic health data to generate real-world evidence for the pharmaceutical industry and public health sector. We are growing and are now looking for a Director to build and lead our Danish presence.

Who are you?

You are a senior leader with deep expertise in real-world evidence and a strong network in the Danish life sciences or health data ecosystem. You combine scientific credibility with commercial acumen and a genuine passion for making health data work harder for patients and industry alike. You are entrepreneurial by nature — motivated by building something meaningful, developing a team, and establishing NordicRWE as the go-to RWE partner in Denmark. You lead with clarity, bring out the best in people, and are equally comfortable in a client meeting and a scientific discussion.

What are we looking for?

• Significant experience in RWE, HEOR, epidemiology, or a related discipline — from pharma, CRO, academia, or a public health setting

• A proven track record of leading and delivering complex RWE studies and managing teams

• Deep knowledge of the Danish health data landscape, including registries, regulatory frameworks, and key institutional stakeholders

• Experience navigating data access approval processes (e.g. Statistics Denmark, Sundhedsdatastyrelsen, the Danish Data Protection Agency)

• Strong business development experience — identifying opportunities, building client relationships, and closing deals

• Excellent communication skills in English and Danish

What will you do?

• Lead and grow NordicRWE's operations in Denmark, including building a local team

• Drive business development and own client relationships with pharma and biotech companies

• Oversee the scientific quality and delivery of RWE studies using Danish and Nordic health data

• Represent NordicRWE externally — at conferences, with data authorities, and with strategic partners

• Contribute to protocol development, study design, and regulatory submissions where needed

• Work closely with the NordicRWE leadership team on strategy, growth, and cross-Nordic collaboration
